Although I am a free thinker Chinese, bout I am no dare to make fun on anyone’s religion in the public places.

I hope the director and others who feel this film is funny should think twice when someone is poking fun on your religion practice.

I wonder how this film can be approved by P1.

Lack of sensitivity on other religion is a sure path to conflict in any country.

very entertaining,,,,,the main actor look macho and gangster like,,,,,actually he’s just an law abiding malaysian trying to get through everyday life in malaysia,,,,
yet it seem to be a very difficult task during time like this…….

This is a very low taste film. The director is just making fun on Islam.

For those who watched this film……Please get through the story behind the scene…….not only the pictures on the scene……..

Firstly,I doubt that the scene of the woman in a veil portrays desperate-ness for penis. Let me ask you a simple question; how many other different “races” actually work in an Islamic bank? Precisely- none (or very very few). What if a chinese/indian/anyone is used to replace the lady, would it make much sense? no. It is an Islamic bank afterall and the best candidate for such role, obviously, is someone that represents the Muslim community.

Secondly, regarding your say on the metaphor used and circumcision. That scene merely shows that “he” comes from an average income earning (or perhaps less than average) family. And seeing his mom cutting up the meat is just saying that it’ll be scary but for his future, he will persevere.

Instead of being so negative and trying to make every single scene a scene out of nothing (no pun intended), try look into it from a different perspective and stop being paranoid that everyone’s trying to diss you.

Agreed with what you have rightly pointed out, in a very neutral perspective manner.
However, for those who are sensitive may make an issue out of it for insulting, be it the culture or the religious.

Anyhow, this has provided a platform for races within Malaysia to have a better understanding of each other of their differences. We do hope that Malaysia viewer will watch these short films in a very open minded manner.
